Inspection Services
Quality Evaluation and functional consumer orientated tests
on inspection reference samples or on pre-production samples are
normally carried out prior to mass production and inspection. From
a consumer point of view, our technical team will check the overall
quality of the product as well as visually for safety and functional
performance in accordance to your specification and requirements
and the applicable (safety) standard of the importing country. Product
weaknesses will be reported along with recommendations for improvements.
The product can be re-tested until the required quality standard
is reached. We will open and maintain a technical product file to
document a complete product history. Hands-on assistance for the
manufacturer for this phase is also available through our engineers.
The service includes inspection / test, reporting, establishing
of checklist for inspection and 1 x technical briefing for a manufacturer's
representative in our office if necessary.
IPI - Initial Production Inspection allows for timely correction
and improvements to be made prior to the commencement of full production.
Materials, components and first finished products are checked against
your samples before commencement of production.
DUPRO - During Production Inspection will help to avoid
last minute delays during final shipping inspection by identifying
problems as they arise during the production process, thus allowing
corrective action to be taken at an early stage.
Once the production has started, a senior Q.C. Engineer will check
the complete production status, step by step, report the actual
status as well as all short comings and non-conformances. At the
same time he'll recommend corrective action for improvements. The
actual production status will be reported and all incoming materials will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If applicable he'll also check whether the improvement-corrections,
as suggested in our Quality test on the pre-production sample were
implemented. Further corrective actions, if needed, are advised.
FRI - Final Random Inspection will be carried out once the
merchandise is fully produced, packed and in all respects ready
for shipment, samples will be selected at random and checked against
your specifications and according to "ANSI Z1.4-1970"
(correspond to MIL standard 105 E). The Final Inspection services
normally include:
- Follow up with factories about inspection dates and booking.
- Reference samples receiving, review, handling for inspection reference.
- Checklist preparation base on actual sample and specification.
- Travel arrangement to/from factory.
- Inspection.
- Preparation of inspection report & certificate.
- Technical support to client and manufacturer for duration of the running projects and beyond.
Loading Supervision can be added on as an additional service,
to give you peace of mind to ensure that the products, which have
been inspected, are also those being shipped. The containers are
inspected for suitability and cleanliness and also that the products
to be shipped are properly packed and loaded into the container.
The loading process will be photo documented and finally the container
will be sealed with shipping line seal. In cases where the container
isn't completely full, the consignment (LCO) will be accompanied
to the shipping company warehouse.
